I am a Partner and Financial Planner at Forward Financial Group. I have ten years of experience helping clients achieve their goals through personalized investment and holistic goal planning.
Before joining Forward Financial Group, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC), with a double emphasis in Finance and Accounting. At WLC I served as one of the founders of the Warrior Investment Club. My education was an important foundation in building the knowledge that I continue to use to serve my clients. After graduating from WLC, I began working as a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed, where I learned an incredible amount about working with individuals and families. However, that role was missing a large component to what I wanted to bring to my clients, independence. That is why I joined the FFG team and helped develop a client service model, which allows me to put your best interest above a corporate best interest.
I work with individuals, families, and small businesses to assist them in pursuing financial goals. Together we work to develop a financial plan by reviewing individual needs, goals, and challenges to find strategies and options to help each client achieve success. To accomplish planning goals, I assist clients in setting up investment portfolios that reflect both their tolerance for risk, as well as the time horizon for their investments. I continue collaboration with clients to ensure that both the investment and financial plan stay up to date as we work to and through retirement.
A little about my personal life: I grew up in Wisconsin Rapids and then lived in Milwaukee for several years. My wife Liz and I moved to Appleton in 2020 and this community has become our home. We welcomed our daughter in October of 2023, and she is our greatest blessing. In our free time, we enjoy being with our extended family, and spending time outdoors, especially in the Northwoods and Door County.
